Mrs. Yvonne Henning Parks has served as Episcopal Supervisor of the Eighth Episcopal District from 2000-2008. Bishop Cornal Garnett Henning was the Presiding Prelate.
Supervisor Parks is the fourth child of the Reverent Herman W. Henning, Sr. and Elizabeth Miller Henning and is the sister of the Bishop E. Anne Henning Byfield and the late Bishop Cornal Garnett Henning. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Wilberforce University, a Master of Arts Degree from Ball State University and completed post-graduate studies at Indiana University and Butler University.
Supervisor Parks has been active all of her life in the African Methodist Episcopal Church:

Supervisor Parks if and active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She is the spouse of the late Reverend Walter D. Parks for 46 years and the mother of three children, Walter, III, the late Reverend Kevin Parks and Pamela Yvonne Parks. She is the grandmother of five.
